Singing Time

When I listened to the soundtrack, I was able to imagine the entire play unrolling. the songs fit so well to the musical that I would be able to describe the play without actually seeing it. My favourite song was Fight The Dragons sung by Edward because it has a really great chorus that is really fun to listen to. I picture this song in Wills bedroom and during the chorus we have some people in the dragon suit that was used in the musical Shrek. My least favourite song is I Don't Need A Roof sung by Sandra because it is really boring when all your watching is Edward with his head in Sandra's lap. To make it more interesting we could have Sandra moving around on stage, doing things like folding laundry and washing dishes while Edward lies on a bed. I like this idea because it is more engaging for the audience to watch. 

Musical Time

While watching the musical Big Fish the scene that stood out to me the most was the scene at the end with will and his son. This stood out because before his fathers death will was all about facts but after he started telling stories to his son. The moral of the story is to live your life the way you want to and to live without regrets. I believe that the metaphor of the name Big Fish is that Edward is always telling stories, talking about the "big fish" that he caught.
